VFC (Vaccines for Children)

What it means / အဓိပ္ပာယ်

A federal program that supplies routine childhood vaccines at no cost for children who are uninsured or on Medicaid, through participating clinics and doctors.

အာမခံမရှိသော သို့မဟုတ် Medicaid ရှိသော ကလေးများအတွက် ပုံမှန်ကာကွယ်ဆေးများကို ပါဝင်သည့် ဆေးခန်းများမှတစ်ဆင့် အခမဲ့ ထောက်ပံ့ပေးသော ဖက်ဒရယ်အစီအစဉ် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

Signs at county health departments, community clinics, and some pharmacies and doctors' offices.

What to do / ဘာလုပ်ရမလဲ

Ask 'Are you a VFC provider?' when you call, and bring the child's immunization record to the visit.

Common mistake / မကြာခဏ မှားတတ်သည်များ

The vaccine itself is covered, but a clinic may still charge an office or administration fee — ask before the visit and say so if you cannot pay it.
